First Time Guest

Looking for a new church home? Looking to strengthen your relationship with the Lord?  We would be honored to have you join us for our worship experience every Sunday @ 10 AM!

We understand visiting a new church can be an intimidating experience. Our hope is you will find Oak Hill Assembly full of loving people and the presence of God. Grab your coffee and join us Sunday at 10 AM.

We pray your visit to Oak Hill will be a blessing to you and your family. Below are some answers to common questions our guests may ask.

Each service emphasizes two main points: the PRESENCE of GOD and the POWER of GOD.  We believe the most powerful way for someone to experience God is through praise and worship.  We believe the presence of the Lord can change someone's life.  We also believe the Word of God is the "power of God unto salvation for all who believe."  The Word of God is preached and taught and through the revelation of the Holy Spirit, we believe souls will be saved, spirits revived and captives set free.

What about my kids?

On Sunday mornings we have options for kids from birth through fifth grade.

  • There is a nursery for newborns and toddlers. Our caregivers sing worship songs and pray over your precious little ones.

  • There’s plenty for your 3-5 year old children to look forward to in our pre-school program. There’s also an age-appropriate service each week where they’ll sing worship songs, learn values through creative and interactive telling of Bible stories.

  • The K-5th grade students have an especially active worship service. They experience the presence of the Lord with energetic worship and learn Biblical truths that will help them not only follow Christ but also to grow in Christ as well.

I have older kids. Where will they go?

Students 6th through 12th grade are part of our regular worship services on Sunday morning. It is important for our kids to understand they are a vital part of the church and see other adults engaging in worship, prayer, and hearing from God's word.

Is there a dress code?

We want you to feel comfortable. Whether that means jeans and a t-shirt, business casual, or suit and tie, you will fit right in.

What do you believe?

We believe that Jesus is the son of God, the Bible is the word of God, and the Holy Spirit gives us power to effectively and powerfully live for Christ. Our goal is to serve you in any way possible to help you grow.

Will I have to say anything, sign anything, or be singled out in any way?

While Oak Hill is a friendly church, you won’t be put on the spot in any way during the service.

  • You won’t have to wear a name badge or be singled out in any way.

  • You don’t even have to sing along if you don’t feel comfortable.

  • You’re not expected to give when we receive the offering.

We have a connection card available in the service to fill out in case you have questions or need prayer.
